Welcome to jennyxcrochet

Hi, I'm Jenny! I started crocheting in 2024 after seeing beautiful cardigans and sweaters all over my feed. I was determined to master this mindful skill, and what I discovered along the way changed everything. Crochet became more than just a hobby - it helped build my confidence and ease my anxiety. Now, I'm passionate about sharing that same transformative experience with others through beginner-friendly workshops in North Dublin.

Learn the Foundations, Build Your Confidence

My beginner workshops are designed to remove the barriers that stop people from starting. You'll learn basic stitches, create a granny square, master colour changes, and join squares together. By the end of the course, you'll have the foundational knowledge to continue learning and growing your crochet skills independently.


A Supportive, Inclusive Space

What makes my workshops different? I work hard to create a supportive environment where doubt melts away, and confidence grows. I've developed a comprehensive booklet and short YouTube videos to support visual learners, and I make sure to provide both left-handed and right-handed versions of all materials - no more flipping images in your head!

My teaching style is to teach to the group, but I also go around to everyone individually to offer support and encouragement.

My goal is simple: I want you to know it's okay to struggle, and I'll be there to help you get through it. What I love most is watching the transformation from the first class to the last. Everyone goes from stressed and hard on themselves to genuinely enjoying the process.

More Than Just a Workshop

Once you complete a workshop, you're welcome to join our growing community space for returning students. We're building something special here, a small community of crocheters who support each other's growth. We recently had our first community dinner, and I'm organising many more social events throughout the year to deepen connections and continue developing our skills together.

One of my favourite parts of teaching is hearing everyone's stories, tales of loved ones past and present who crochet, and watching new friendships form in class. Crochet has a beautiful way of connecting people across generations and experiences.
